Spalding University's four-semester, brief-residency MFA in Writing offers

Each semester begins with a 10-day residency in Louisville or abroad,* after which students return home to study independently with a faculty mentor.

*The summer residency abroad takes place in such locations as Barcelona, Buenos Aires, Paris, Rome/Tuscany, London/Bath, Galway/Dublin.
