Elmer J. Boeseke Jr., American polo star, had a difficult backhand shot to make here on the left side of the pony, but a moment after the photographer snapped this picture, the ball rolled between the goal posts, some 25 yards away. Boeseke made the shot during a recent game at the Midwick Country Club, Los Angeles, Calif.
