RESOLVER

Consider the arrangement in Fig. 9-20, depicting a transformer having the primary winding P on the stator and the two secondary windings A and B on the rotor. For simplicity, let us assume that all windings have an equal number of turns, and furthermore let us neglect all leakage fluxes... The resolver is physically located at the gimbal bearing so that it rotates through the required angle.
