Entomologic Observations
I never saw him ---
with a corner of my eye
I'd see a mantis scutter
Obscenely delicate, but dim ---
he was a creature to observe;
like Plasticine, he'd bend, he'd curve,
shove me aside with callous limb.
In truth, he might have been another
genus altogether. He was my father ---
I never saw him.
