Lost Roads Publishers is co-edited by poets Forrest Gander and C.D. Wright. The press was incorporated in Arkansas in 1976 by the late Frank Stanford. Lost Roads has published over three dozen titles to date, and is committed to bringing out essential books in contemporary literature. Poetry, short fiction, art in black and white, travel and works in translation compose its backlist. The present focus of the press is contemporary American poetry.
