To Define: Fetch
Certainly a dog fetches.
Most dogs fetch, although
mine never. She lacked
the will to carry.
Servants fetch. Young girls
are fetching if their tights
match their dresses.
But also: an appartion of
a living person. Someone here
but not quite, who haunts the one
who's really here.
Or closer still than that to you --
he won't let go.
You mean the world to him.
His fist closes around your name.
