Ted Kooser, a Prairie Schooner contributor, a visiting professor in the English Department at the University of Nebraska - Lincoln, and Poet Laureate of the United States, has won the Pulitzer Prize in poetry for his collection, Delights and Shadows, available from Copper Canyon Press. This latest achievement of Ted's has prompted some in Lincoln to unofficially nominate Ted for Pope. We second the motion, and would like to nominate him for President, too, since the Pope position appears to have been filled. Hooray for Ted!
