Tel-Aviv
   Sargam Garg

Silently spreading the silver sea
Tel-Aviv sleeps
in the arms of the Mediterranean
guarding faith, religion and history.

It rises to reality, when the
sapphire sea swells
like an olive, breathing the fear
of rockets rocking the rocky shore.

As a tourist, I capture in my camera
only the glowing euphoria
and women with lucent skin,
seductive like a juicy strawberry.

I am free, I am free like autumn leaf
falling from the tree
though my trip had ended, I still sleep
and rise like the fearful Tel-Aviv.
